In this area, Jiménez Cruz Peña advises local companies as well as branches or subsidiaries of multinational companies with the hiring of workers, the termination of labor contracts, the drafting of their Internal Labor Regulations, the ensuring of compliance with the provisions contained in the Dominican labor and social security laws, negotiations with workers, and we directly participate with our clients in the process of terminating labor contracts. We provide such guidance to clients through seminars, the preparation of opinions, and labor auditing, which includes providing preventive measures and advice to our clients' management force.

We litigate extensively in this area for our clients. We handle any investigations and criminal cases involving violations committed by workers.

Recently, we successfully obtained the judicial authorization corresponding to the termination of workers' contracts protected by certain restrictions, the 'union enclave' (fuero sindical), which had been undertaking illegal activities against their employer.
