Jiménez Cruz Peña set for growth with new partners

Jiménez Cruz Peña has promoted three senior associates to the partnership. The new partners Vilma Veras, Katherine Rosa and Rosa Díaz specialize in corporate transactions, project finance, and litigation, respectively. In addition, the firm promoted Manuel Peña R., senior associate and a seasoned litigator, to Counsel. The promotions, which take effect as of July 1, 2011, support the firm’s continued growth, bringing the total number of partners to 6.

All new partners come from within the firm. Two of them, Vilma Veras and Rosa Díaz have been with the firm since its inception in 2003. Vilma is a specialist in corporate transactions, financing and tax law, while Rosa Diaz coordinates with Manuel Peña R. the firm’s Litigation and Arbitration Department and focuses on employment and labor matters. Katherine Rosa, who joined Jiménez Cruz Peña after a successful banking career, is the firm’s banking and finance authority.
